The herbal
tea corner
Loose leaves. Little flowers. Beautiful pots.
A cozy collection to brew warm or pour over ice.
Choose a leaf, a flower, a flavor.
Start with a gentle mint cup, a golden floral pot, or a bright ruby infusion. Every recipe includes measured ingredients and a chilled variation.
A few things before you brew
Loose and lovely
These recipes use individual fresh or dried botanicals. Choose ingredients labeled for culinary use, with the plant clearly identified. A reusable infuser or fine strainer keeps the cup tidy.
A glass pot, safely
Watch the flowers steep in a heat-safe glass teapot. Unless the pot is rated for stovetop use, boil water separately and pour it in. A covered steep is enough for the mint and chamomile recipes.
Follow the season
Serve a warm pot on a cool afternoon, or try each recipe's iced option on a sunny day. Seasonal serving suggestions are invitations, so choose the version you enjoy.
A pot worth pausing for
The visible leaves and flowers, the glass pot, and the time spent pouring are part of what inspired this corner. Azerbaijan's official tourism site describes thyme tea brewed in a pot in Kükü village. Our recipes here are our own simple combinations; they are not presented as traditional Azerbaijani recipes.
