How We Write and Review Recipes

Practical food guidance with clear ingredients and sources for health claims.

Recipe standards

My smoothie recipes are made and tasted at home. I do not invent test dates, tasting notes, ratings, reviews, or health outcomes.

Clear ingredients and instructions

Each recipe includes its ingredients, preparation steps, one storage note, and a short FAQ. Timing and yield are approximate where ingredient size or equipment can change them.

Ingredient facts and health information

Ingredient and nutrient facts link to sources such as NIH, USDA, or Mayo Clinic where relevant. Research on an ingredient does not establish the same effect for a whole drink. I do not promise that a drink will detox, burn fat, reduce inflammation, or boost immunity.

Nutrition figures

I only publish nutrition estimates when their ingredient quantities and calculation sources are documented, and I label them as estimates. Substitutions and serving sizes can change the result.

Corrections

If an ingredient quantity, instruction, or source needs correcting, send me the page link and the specific issue.
