Fresh Juice

Pineapple Turmeric Juice

I started making pineapple turmeric juice during a season when my joints felt achy and my afternoons felt heavier than they should. I wanted something bright, not another complicated wellness routine that required 14 jars and a new identity. Pineapple was sweet, turmeric was golden, ginger was spicy, and lemon pulled everything together. I was shocked by how much I looked forward to it.

Why I Juice This One

I juice this one because pineapple brings natural sweetness and enzymes, turmeric brings that famous golden anti inflammatory reputation, and ginger adds warmth that makes the whole drink feel active and alive.

The tiny pinch of black pepper is not there for flavor drama. It helps the body use the turmeric more effectively, and I like that one small pinch can make the juice feel more complete.

Here's What You'll Need

You will need two cups of fresh pineapple chunks, one inch of fresh turmeric root or one half teaspoon of ground turmeric, one inch of fresh ginger, the juice of one lemon, a pinch of black pepper to wake up the turmeric, and one cup of cold water.

How I Make It

I add pineapple, turmeric, ginger, lemon juice, black pepper, and cold water to the blender. If I am using fresh turmeric, I peel it carefully because it stains everything with the confidence of permanent marker. Then I blend until the pineapple is completely smooth.

I strain the mixture through a nut milk bag into a bowl, squeezing well so every bit of golden juice comes through. Then I pour it into a mason jar over ice and drink it in the afternoon when I want something that feels sunny and supportive.

Made's Tips

Fresh pineapple gives the brightest flavor, but frozen pineapple works if you let it thaw a little first.

If turmeric is new to you, start with a smaller amount and build up as your taste buds get comfortable.

I always add lemon because it keeps the juice from tasting too sweet and makes the ginger pop.

Made's Note

This pineapple turmeric juice is my golden reset when my body asks for extra kindness. I hope it brings you sunshine, warmth, and a little relief in the middle of your day.
