Ingredients
For this healthy chocolate smoothie, you will need the following ingredients, you can feel free to add the optional ingredients to this healthy low carb weight loss chocolate smoothie.
1 sliced banana
1/3 of an avocado sliced
2-4 teaspoons of Cacao Powder
1 tablespoon of unsweetened almond butter
[this is optional, you can also use cashew nut butter or macadamia nut butter, this adds healthy fats and protein to the smoothie]
A pinch of cinnamon powder [optional]
A pinch of vanilla bean powder [optional]
1 teaspoon of 100% pure Mable Syrup [optional but its to make it a little bit sweeter]
1/2 cup of water
4 ice cubes
Directions
In a blender, add the sliced banana and avocado
Add the cacao powder and then the 1/2 cup of water
[NB; If you don’t want to add the optional ingredients, you can add your ice at this point and a sweetener if you want and blend, but if you are okay with the optional ingredients, go to the next steps]
Now, add the unsweetened almond butter,
a pinch of cinnamon,
a pinch of vanilla powder,
and the maple syrup to the blender
Finally, add the ice cubes, and its ready to blend
